The first was a big grizzly that showed up in the same spot where the one visited last year, leading me to believe it was the same bear that had grown considerably. Throughout the year, we have had a sow and two cubs that grew up in the same area and became a little too familiar. Concerned over the safety of my family, I finally took to scaring them off with loud bear bangers, kind of like firecrackers.
