As a young man I used to canoe there from the village to watch the salmon, trout and steelhead making their way up the creek to the lake. I've always wanted to return to this beautiful spot in the Great Bear Rainforest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThis September I had a wonderful opportunity to travel to Captain's Cove for an evening anchorage with a good friend, Norman Larson. The gulls cry echoed from the hillside as the soft colors of a Kitkatla sunset filled the sky and reflected in the calm waters of the bay.
