My friend Norm Larsen and I traveled from Port Edward to a beautiful anchorage we call Bear Bay, situated in our Gitxaala territories. Bear Bay has been a traditional harvesting area for thousands of years. I feel at home there; I can sense the presence of ancestors when I visit. We were making our way to a new Marina called MK Bay near Kitamaat.
