Sealions can be found in colonies all along British Columbia’s coastline. Often, they congregate in areas that are inaccessible to the average person. Near Tofino, where I live, there are two large groups. In Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, there is a colony that can be observed from the beach. A short stroll along Combers Beach will bring one within sight of seal lions that gather on the rocks close to the shore. Every summer, visitors to our area can see the Combers Beach Sea Lions.
