Each time that I return to this picturesque village on the banks of the Skeena River, countless memories and emotions flood my mind and soul.

One of my most memorable recollections is as a child of five on my first visit to the interior of the province, from my home in the village of Kitkatla. Skeena Crossing, with its snow-covered earth, trees with no leaves, horses, and the wonderful smell of birchwood from a cozy fireplace, contrasts with Kitkatla and its coastal rains, evergreen trees, eagles, whales, and cedarwood fires.

I have traveled to many places during the ensuing years and it is always a pleasure to return to the Skeena River and the warmth of birchwood fires, particularly when it's snowing and sixteen below outside.

Block Mount: High-quality print mounted on a 3/8” MDF board where a protective UV lamination is applied. Features a subtle 1/8" black beveled edge and a pre-cut hanger slot for easy hanging.
