It has been 50 years since I left the Gitanmaax School of Art in Hazelton, B.C., and created my first limited-edition prints, Tsimshian Chief and Tsimshian Woman.

The Eagle is my maternal crest from my home village of Gitxaala.

I made my first trip to Europe this year to connect with the land of my ancestors. This work has an English, Irish, and Celtic influence, as well as my Asian ancestors. 

My first self portrait is there evidenced by the eyebrows.

I am 78 years old and continue to enjoy my art through my golden years.
