- Story
Ninstints, now a world heritage site, was my first choice as a subject for “Portholes to the Past”. Its remoteness and famous stand of old, weathered, silver totems long interested me. On my visit to Ninstints, I felt as though I was stepping into a cathedral. I was overcome by a feeling of awe and sadness. As I sat amidst the remnants of the village, I was impressed and inspired by the power and majesty of what remained.
