I was on a solo cruise to Bishop Bay hot springs and arrived to enjoy them alone before dinner. I enjoyed a quiet meal for a moment before hearing the blow of a whale. There was a family of humpbacks that came into the bay. It was a lovely visit, and they stayed in the bay all night. I woke in the morning to the sound of whales blowing. As I was leaving the humpbacks in dawn’s early light, I felt the inspiration sweep over me.
