The snows of November have dusted the earth with the icing of the coming winter. All the salmon species have returned to the river to continue the dance of death and new life.
The bears have gorged on salmon and gone to den up for the long winter sleep. We are left to fish for trout and the mighty steelhead who are always there for us. The rewards are great for those hardcore fishers willing to brave the chill of the river and the bite of frosty wind.
The totems in the snow remind us of the generations who have existed here in this beautiful land for thousands of seasons. We are called to look past the trials of everyday life and feel the inspiration that comes from loving the land and its people.
